Descriptions

Calcium-transporting ATPase 7 (ACA7) catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the translocation of calcium in a Ca2+-dependent manner. ACA enzymes contain an N-terminal autoinhibitory region, which serves a binding site of a calmodulin. Removal of the N-terminal region restored the calcium pump activity of ACA7. Calmodulin-binding to the autoinhibitory region releases the autoinhibition

3 GO annotations of cellular component

Name Definition
Golgi membrane The lipid bilayer surrounding any of the compartments of the Golgi apparatus.
integral component of plasma membrane The component of the plasma membrane consisting of the gene products and protein complexes having at least some part of their peptide sequence embedded in the hydrophobic region of the membrane.
intracellular membrane-bounded organelle Organized structure of distinctive morphology and function, bounded by a single or double lipid bilayer membrane and occurring within the cell. Includes the nucleus, mitochondria, plastids, vacuoles, and vesicles. Excludes the plasma membrane.

5 GO annotations of molecular function

Name Definition
ATP binding Binding to ATP, adenosine 5'-triphosphate, a universally important coenzyme and enzyme regulator.
ATPase-coupled cation transmembrane transporter activity Enables the transfer of a solute or solutes from one side of a membrane to the other according to the reaction: ATP + H2O + cation(out) = ADP + phosphate + cation(in).
calmodulin binding Binding to calmodulin, a calcium-binding protein with many roles, both in the calcium-bound and calcium-free states.
metal ion binding Binding to a metal ion.
P-type calcium transporter activity Enables the transfer of a solute or solutes from one side of a membrane to the other according to the reaction: ATP + H2O + Ca2+(in) = ADP + phosphate + Ca2+(out).
