Insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor(IGF-I receptor). The JM(juxtamembrane) region of the human insulin-like growth factor I receptor (IGF1R) plays a role in kinase regulation. The JM region is involved in regulating IGF1R activity by inhibiting the autophosphorylation activity of the kinase. The JM region of IGF1R also plays an important role in limiting the basal activity of the receptor.
