Descriptions

ETS translocation variant 4 is a transcriptional activator that plays a vital role in keratinocyte differentiation. N-terminal and C-terminal inhibitory segments cooperatively repress DNA binding of ETV4 by packing against the ETS domain. Acetylation of selected lysines within the N-terminal inhibitory domain activates DNA binding.
