Descriptions

ELK4 (SAP-1a) belongs to a subfamily of ETS domain transcription factors. Its characteristic property is the ability to form a ternary nucleoprotein complex with the serum response factor (SRF) over the serum response element (SRE) of the c-fos promoter. NID domain and B-box inhibit the binding of ELK4 to DNA.
