Protein Class |
TYROSINE-PROTEIN KINASE (PTHR24418) |

Descriptions
Tyrosine-protein kinase Lck plays an important role in transmitting signals through surface immunoglobulins and supports the pro-B to pre-B transition, as well as the signaling for growth arrest and apoptosis downstream of B-cell receptor. It is included in Src family nonreceptor tyrosine kinases. Src kinase family shares a conserved domain structure consisting of consecutive SH3, SH2, tyrosine kinase, and C-terminal tail. Like other kinases in the same family.

Name | Definition |
---|---|
cytosol | The part of the cytoplasm that does not contain organelles but which does contain other particulate matter, such as protein complexes. |
extracellular exosome | A vesicle that is released into the extracellular region by fusion of the limiting endosomal membrane of a multivesicular body with the plasma membrane. Extracellular exosomes, also simply called exosomes, have a diameter of about 40-100 nm. |
