MLnet is a multi-layered network expansion model to identify common genetic modifiers across multiple diseases. Genetic modifiers are the genes or proteins that are able to alleviate or aggravate disease phenotypes/symptoms when up- or down-regulated. Thus, modifiers would be prime therapeutic targets.
How to query
- Email: Enter the email to receive prediction results. Only one query is allowed for one email.
- Job Title (optional): Enter any description.
- Species: Choose D. melanogaster (fruit fly) or H. sapiens (human|default).
- Number of Diseases: Choose the number of diseases (2-5).
- Disease Name: Any text without special characters and spaces.
- Gene/Protein Names: Enter gene or protein names each per line. The database IDs below are acceptable. (At least 11 gene/proteins are required per disease)
- Acceptable IDs: Official name, UniProt accession number, STRING ID, FlyBase ID (fly), or EMBL ID (human).
- * All special characters (except spacing and line-spacing) entered in Disease Name and Gene/Protein Names are not allowed and automatically converted to "_".
